DEPARTMENT STAFFKevin Kornegay Kevin Kornegay, Valencia High School PE Department Chair. He has been a teacher in the Wm S. Hart District since 1989. He received his Bachelors Degree of Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Utah (1988) and his Masters Degree of Education from the University of La Verne (1995). Annie Kellogg Annie Kellogg was born in Upstate New York and is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles where she played on a tennis scholarship. Her senior year she was named All-American. A Physical Education major in undergraduate school, she also has her Masters Degree in School Counseling. Annie coaches the Girls tennis team in the Fall and the Boys team in the Spring. In addition to teaching physical education and beginning to advanced tennis classes, she also teaches a junior/senior elective Life Management/Strategies - a class that inspires students to be their BEST, find their passions, and maintain positive, healthy relationships. Donna Lee Donna Lee has been teaching since 1987. She has been teaching at Valencia HS since 1994. Coach Lee is in her 20th year of coaching softball. She begins her 14th year at the helm of the National Championship girls' softball program. Donna Lee is a graduate of San Francisco State University where she played softball and earned a BA Degree in Kinesiology. She received her teaching credential, where she was named Outstanding Student Teacher in 1986. She also earned her Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of La Verne in 1998. Outside school, Donna enjoys spending time with her husband and children and she loves to run and to go to the movies. Joanna Lopez Joanna Lopez has been teaching since 1996. She taught junior high for 16 years before transferring to Valencia High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in Physical Education from CSUN and got her teaching credential from Chapman University. She enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with her family. She loves working with the students and want to instill a love of physical activity and inspire them to be the best they can be. Brian Stiman Mr. Stiman has been a teacher in the Wm. S Hart school district for the past 24 years. He is currently teaching basketball and soccer in the Physical Education department along with his duties as the Athletic Director. He earned his bachelors degree in physical education from CSUN, and also holds teaching credentials in both physical education and special education from CSULA, and a master's degree in education from Azusa Pacific University. He is looking forward to the 2016-17 school year and having the opportunity to work with the fine group of students who are attending Valencia high school. Robert Waters Coach Waters has been a football coach here at Valencia High School since 1997. Coach Waters received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from CSUN and his Masters in Education from the University of La Verne. |
